Matilda’s 3rd Birthday Photo Shoot 

For the second year in a row, Matilda and her mummy visited me for Matilda’s birthday photoshoot and I couldn’t have been happier to welcome them back. 

Matilda’s lovely mummy plans to do a shoot every year using a number balloon. Isn’t that such a lovely idea? Matilda is going to love looking back on her collection of photos in years to come. 

Last year was my first year photographing Matilda and she was the sweetest little whirlwind. We had lots of fun chasing her around my studio and trying everything and anything to get her to stand/sit/ just be near her ‘2’ balloon which she was actually a little bit scared of! We got the shot though as well as many others that totally capture her personality at the time. 

This year, I had a confident little 3 year old enter my studio full of smiles and excited giggles. 

Her mummy had planned a trip to Disneyland Paris for Matilda’s birthday and wanted to bring along a Mickey Mouse toy and a cute little sign. I suggested including a balloon garland to add something a little bit extra to the photos. 

Matilda was so easy to photograph and the shoot was a real pleasure from start to finish.

We did a quick outfit change and grabbed a couple of shots of Matilda in her party dress and promised to send those ones directly to Cinderella. 

I can't wait to welcome them back next year.
